Well, He comes through again, like He always does.
A couple of weeks ago, when we last saw Stef's parents, they told us that they wanted to help us out with my dentist bills to have this tooth fixed. I guess we weren't paying attention, because on Wednesday evening Stef's mom almost got mad at me because we were worrying about the money. So, today they wrote us a cheque to cover it. Very cool. But I still hate dentists :)
Today was a great day. Stef's parents and her sister's family came over and we went to the beach. Did some swimming, caught some crabs (didn't keep them - catch and release, ya know!), and got too much sun, then came back and had some lunch. They left late in the afternoon, but it was a lot of fun.
So, tonight we are doing nothing, or next to it. Probably feel good, since we are both pooped from the long walk out to the water.

It's not fair...
Ok, so far I've been pretty good about not whining on this blog, but 1) no one reads it anyways, and 2) it's my turn.
I hate dentists. It's not so much the pain and discomfort they cause; it's the exorbitant prices they charge to inflict the pain and discomfort, and the fact that they can give you an estimate, then tell you to shove it while they charge you double. If I did an estimate for cleaning a facility, and then charged the customer double my estimate, they would tell me to take a flying leap! But for some reason dentists can get away with it.
So, here I am, sitting here "feeling sorry for myself", and wondering where I am gonna come up with $400. EI doesn't pay much, Stefani doesn't make $40K per year - yet. Honestly, it looks like we are going to have to cancel a cruise; which, by the way, is really cheap. Sounds dumb, maybe selfish, but hey, if God decides to bless us with the money now, so that we can still enjoy ourselves IN OCTOBER! that's cool with me.
