We moved away from the beach almost a year ago, into a home that has a wonderful view of Semiahmoo Bay. We thought this was really great, and we still think it is really great. I mean, I fell in love with the place instantly, and decided to splurge, and go $150+ per month over our budget price.
So, now that we have spent an additional $1800 in the last year (in a place that is no longer worth $1650 a month, I might add!) we are ready for a change.
Why do we move around so much?!
We just signed a lease on a new place, and it is even farther from the beach! But it is right in the heart of it all. Morgan Crossing is a new community in South Surrey, and we have been looking at it for a while. So, now we found a place at The Morgan. A 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, second floor end unit; for our original budget price! But, you say, it is far from the beach! You are going the wrong way! Well, let me tell you...
The Morgan Club house has a fireside room with 2 TVs, a full kitchen, a foosball table, and a pool table. It also has a theatre with enough seating for a decent party, and a very big TV. It has an outdoor pool, an outdoor hot tub, a library, and a gym! We have 2 underground parking spots, and more underground visitors' spots. It is very secure. It is brand new. It is CHEAPER than what we are now in!!
The problem? No more White Rock. No more beach.
That is why this is the last blog - at least on this site.
