The New Car

Hi, been a while - we've been too busy cruisin' around in our new convertible!

We finally got it on Wednesday, which was a very nice day. We promptly drove it out to Chilliwack to show off to Stef's parents. Of course, we have been driving with the top down almost the whole time, except for yesterday in the rain. One particularly chilly evening we put on warm jackets and tuques and went across the line for gas and a snack at Paso del Norte (gotta try their deep-fried ice cream!!), then we took a drive down a dark road to look up at the stars. Very romantic ... very cold :o)

We are enjoying the car very much. Getting some stripes and details done this week; picked up a Sirius radio, and it is a lot of fun bombing around. Stefani even tried out the Traction Control System, yesterday when she punched the gas on a wet turn. Surprised me, but she was expecting it. I had a little fun yesterday, too, in the rain, especially when I took the TCS off! Whao! Even the 4 liter goes like stink!
