…but kinda lonely.
Our lives are great right now. Nice place, nice car, decent jobs (well, the money is okay – hate working though!) I said to Stef today that life certainly does not suck – just some portions of it I could do without.
Saw some old friends walking on the Promenade today, and at first I thought it was cool to see them and say hi and all that; but when we got back home, Stef reminded me of some things, like, they never call. Not just them – we have a lot of old friends that we never see, they never call, and then we find out they were here, walking at the beach, eating ice cream, but no one called us. Okay, I understand if people are here with other people, but … whatever.
So, at least we are lonely in a beautiful place. Could’ve been Mexico, though. Certainly wouldn’t have missed many people.

good thing we get along most of the time since I think we will just the two of us for awhile yet... until we can move to a new country and start all brand new ;)
